Nannies and Childcare is the childcare agency which aims to take away the stress of finding the right type of childcare for your
family. We are based in Bristol and cover Bristol and surrounding areas (nannies, mothers help etc) and the whole of England for Au
pairs and Au pair Plus. We are proud members of IAPA (International Au Pair association).
There are several ways to find childcare or domestic staff: advertising yourself, via word of mouth and using an agency.
On the surface, using an agency can seem the most expensive method.
However, in actual fact, it saves time and money in the long run.
We have a database of quality, vetted candidates. We have carefully
defined the criteria for which each candidate must pass in order to be registered with us.
For instance, we look at experience, maturity, current situation, future direction, personality and the criminal
records bureau amongst others when making our decision on adding someone to our register.
We have a wealth of experience having worked in the childcare field in the past as nannies and more recently in
Child Protection as a Social Workers. Furthermore, we are also employers of such childcare and so we have an
insiders and outsiders viewpoint, which benefits the whole process when making a placement. With us, you
deal with us directly, and our goal is to find you the right person in the shortest space of time and with the least hassle.
The agency is run by Monica Worsley a mum of four and Lis Bosch who is a part time nanny and a residential social worker.
