We know how very stressful it is when trying to find the right family for a positions as an au pair .
When you are new in a strange country and sometimes with very little spoken of the language of the country where you are planning to stay.
We can give you comprehensive advice on working as an au pair. We try to match you to the right family,
although sometimes it might take a bit longer than expected. As an agency we can provide you with an
au pair friendship circle on arrival in your chosen country.
the process
If you would like us to find you a family you will first of all need to register. There is no charge for this, and it does not obligate you to use our services.
If you are interested in us finding you a family we need various bits of paper from you, via e-mail. These include:
- An up to date CV
- Registration form
- 2 proofs of ID (passport, driving licence, birth certificate), one of which must have a recent picture.
- Copies of all the qualifications you have.
- Medical Certificate.
- Dear family letter.
- Police certificate
- Two references from families (one at least of having worked with children)
We have to speak on the phone for an informal interview, to get a better understanding of what you want to do,
and what position would suit you best. If everything is in order, we will start sending you forms with prospective families.
The client will let us know if he/she wants to speak to you. If the feeling is mutual, we will liaise between yourself and
the client to facilitate the paperwork.
Please note, we require the client to pay a deposit to secure you for their vacancy. Without a deposit, we cannot
guarantee that the position is yours, and we will continue sending you family profiles.
Once you start, we will contact you to make sure everything is going well. In most cases this is true, but should you feel you
have made the wrong decision, we are on hand to help you.

At Nannies and childcare, we make sure we do not offer applicants for positions if they have got very poor english.
Therefore, we have set out some minimum requirements.
The cost for English au pairs wishing a placement in another country is £150 plus TAX.
Foreign Au pairs who wish to come to the UK it is free of charge, if they come through a partner agency.
