When you have been offered an interview with a potential employer, you obviously want to make a good impression. Therefore, you should:
- Be on time
- Dress smart, but not too smart. The family should imagine you playing with the children in a park

- Remember the names of the children
- You should remember the job description
- Speak to the children if they are present
- Be yourself
- Discuss issues like eating habits, discipline, manners, other important issues related to the particular family
